idk where to even start tbh. i've been doing a lot of reflecting recently about how my fav corners of the internet are slowly dying due to ads, the algorithm, AI, etc. and it has made me nostalgic for what i loved about it in the first place. i love sharing and receiving info, connecting GENuINELy with my friends and people i admire, and the personalization/creative freedom we used to have in sharing all of it!! so i am trying this out :) welcome to my blog ˚⟡˖ ࣪i want to use this space freely so there's really no direction in mind. i think i'm just going to start by recapping what i've loved this month so far and see where it goes from there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

oh karly, you can do no wrong in my eyes!! songwriting immaculate. guitar and drums top tier. banger after banger after banger and then one song that will make me cry everytime. thank you for this one.

- choke enough - oklou ♡ idk where she came from but this album is so dreamy and has completely captured my heart.
- it's a beautiful place - water from your eyes ✷✷✷ so sonically interesting and that makes it so fun to listen to. just pure enjoyment from this one.
- addison rae - addison rae. giiiirl what a knockout punch for a debut album!!! addison you ray of sunshine, i can't wait to see where your career is heading after this.
- ego death at a bachelorette party - hayley williams ☻︎☹︎♛another one i feel lucky to have experienced in real time, wow. ms. hayley has been so inspiring to me from the earliest days of paramore on, and it is so refreshing to see her branch out and find her own musical identity :')
- MAYHEM - lady gaga. oh my godddddd guys you don't even understand the rush i felt the first time i heard abracadabra and knew that the lady gaga i know and love was BACK with a vengeance... i will remember that forever. paws up fr.
- virgin - lorde. idk i feel like this didn't click for a lot of people but i loved this one. none of these songs are single material on their own, (even what was that was questionable) but it all fits together as a full project so perfectly and you can tell that lorde put a lot of thought into it. tru artistry on display here.
